Welcome to Pleasure Unplugged, an ambitious research project that aims to shine a light on real female pleasure. At its heart is an anonymous questionnaire that asks real women to speak honestly and frankly about their experiences of pleasure (and displeasure). It’s anonymous because we don’t want you to hold anything back. Your identity will never be revealed.

What’s the aim of Pleasure Unplugged?

The aim is to create and curate a powerful collection, a database, of true stories about real female pleasure – unplugged, unabridged and unapologetic.  A big, fat, juicy, collaborative truth-bomb of a legacy.

Who is Pleasure Unplugged for?

This research is for the benefit of everyone. It will be a snapshot of truth & authenticity in an age of fakes, lies and misinformation. Women, girls – this is your chance to honestly and anonymously share the true story of your pleasure and displeasure, from childhood to now. Men, boys, it will be your chance to gain a rare, honest, raw and unique insight into the fascinating and complicated world of real female pleasure.

Why bother?

Because if us women do not truthfully explain our genuine pleasure (and displeasure), we are doomed to have it (mis) represented, as it is at the time of writing, by the mainstream online porn industry, our modern, one-stop, extremely dubious guide to the world of adult sexual pleasure. An industry busy promoting a lucrative and addictive fantasy world that persistently equates sexual violence against women as arousing. An equation that out here in the real world, from the perspective of the majority of females, is horrifyingly incorrect. The widespread use of online porn is wreaking very real havok on the lives of real women, real men, real children and the very real relationships between them.

Time to tell it like it is, ladies

Pleasure Unplugged will present a different view of female pleasure. A genuinely collaborative view, where real women reveal what their real pleasure is. An authentic insight into the full spectrum of real female pleasure. Once we have a large enough collection, we’ll let the world take a peek.
